DOLE 2020 - Workers' Statutory Monetary Benefits

The Department of Labor and Employment has recently issued an updated version of its Workers' Statutory Monetary Benefits Handbook.

This is an important reference that each HR professional should have and read.

WHAT DOES IT CONTAIN?
This year's updated version has Secretary Silvestre Bello III on the Handbook's Foreword.  Highlighted are notations on updates related to: 
  • Republic Act No. 11210 or the provision for the Expanded Maternity Law.
  • Republic Act.No. 11360 and  IRR for service  charges collected by businesses and given to its employees.
  • Update on minimum wage for 'kasambahays' or house-helps.
The handbook comprises of 21 subcategories including the compliance guide matrix and the appendix.
